Philip LaRochelle, MSITM, MBA
Mr. LaRochelle has over ten years’ experience in healthcare in budgeting, variance reporting, and analysis. He has a number of successes streamlining and automating processes in this area that reduces manual labor by focusing on developing electronic reports that reduced user error rates, and build more sophisticated calculations into the budget process improving accuracy. He has extensive experience in the development of operational reports in the Paragon financial system. Prior to healthcare, he worked with EDS as Systems Administrator Associate and Financial Analyst developing standard report design using Microsoft Excel Business Objects and Visual Basic that reduce time and effort it takes to extract data for contract requests. He has been very successful in converting the 835 data files provided by Medicare and Blue Cross to third party logs through a Windows-based application, creating a method to capture voucher information efficiently and accurately in less time than the current logging method. He has also worked extensively on physician productivity performance systems measuring physician productivity at multiple hospitals against national benchmarks, in addition to individual performance reports for physicians’ productivity goals.
He holds degrees from Grand Valley State and Oakland University. He is also Six Sigma certified in addition to a certified local site implementer for AOMI. Mr. LaRochelle has training in Paragon General Ledger SQL Server and Info Center; Project Management CBT; Cisco CCNA, ICND, CallManager and Voice; Sun Solaris Unix; and IBM Tivoli support.
